Terms of Use for Growing in Brotherhood
Welcome to Growing in Brotherhood. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Growing in Brotherhood website (the “Site”), mobile applications, online communities, podcasts, events, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by Growing in Brotherhood Ministries (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Growing in Brotherhood Ministries. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and we will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Site or through other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
To use certain features of the Services, such as creating a profile, participating in forums, or accessing member-only content, you must register for an account. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account or use the Services.

• Use the Services for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence.
• Impersonate others, create fake accounts, or engage in harassment.
• Upload viruses, spam, or interfere with the Services’ functionality.
• Scrape, copy, or distribute content without permission.
• Use automated tools like bots or scrapers to access the Services.
All content on the Services is owned by Growing in Brotherhood Ministries or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
3. User-Generated Content
You may submit content such as comments, forum posts, testimonials, or video submissions (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and create derivative works from it in connection with the Services and our mission.
You represent that your User Content:
• Does not infringe any third-party rights.
• Complies with applicable laws and these Terms.
• Aligns with our values of encouragement, respect, and faith-centered brotherhood.
We are not obligated to host or display any User Content and may remove it at any time for any reason, including violations of community guidelines.
4. Community Guidelines
Growing in Brotherhood is a safe space for men pursuing spiritual growth, accountability, and godly leadership. To maintain this environment:
• Respect and Encouragement: Speak truth in love; avoid personal attacks or divisive rhetoric.
• Faith-Focused: Content must honor Scripture and promote unity in Christ.
• No Discrimination: We welcome brothers from all backgrounds; discrimination based on race, ethnicity, or status is prohibited.
• Privacy: Do not share others’ personal information without consent.
• Moderation: We moderate content and may remove posts that violate these guidelines.
Violations may result in warnings, content removal, or account suspension.
5. Intellectual Property
The Growing in Brotherhood name, logo, podcasts (including “Morning Glory” series), blog series, and all original content are trademarks and copyrights of Growing in Brotherhood Ministries. You may not use them without written permission.
Limited License: We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and view content for personal use. No other rights are granted.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may link to third-party sites (e.g., podcast platforms like Spotify, YouTube, or Calendly for events). We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Use them at your own risk.
7. Events and Recordings
For live events, podcasts, or virtual gatherings:
• Recordings may be shared publicly unless specified otherwise.
• By participating, you consent to recording and use in promotional materials.
• Cancellations follow our policy: full refund if 48 hours notice; no refund within 24 hours.
8. Donations and Purchases
Donations and purchases (e.g., merchandise, coaching) are non-refundable except as required by law. We use secure processors like Stripe or PayPal. All transactions are in USD.
9. Disclaimers
The Services provide spiritual encouragement and community, not professional advice. Content is for informational purposes; consult licensed professionals for counseling, financial, medical, or legal matters.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Growing in Brotherhood Ministries, its founders (including Jeree Ann), affiliates, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100 if no payment was made.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the Services, User Content, or violations of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without notice, for any reason, including policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts in Wayne County, Michigan. You waive any objections to venue.

14. Privacy

15. Miscellaneous
• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the full agreement.
• Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect others.
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce rights does not waive them.
• Assignment: We may assign these Terms; you may not.
